"i was able to get through checkout..."
i was able to get through checkout on hodgesmarine.com, but it felt a little clunky. pages were loading slower than i expected, and i ended up checking my shipping info twice because i wasn’t totally sure it saved. the payment went through fine in the end, so it wasn’t a huge problem. it just felt a bit outdated compared to other sites i’ve used

"Backorder Drama, But They Didn’t Totally Drop the Ball"
My item ended up being backordered, which was super fun because who doesn’t love waiting for something they already paid for? To be fair, they did keep me updated and shipped it out once it was back in stock. Not exactly a flawless experience, but they handled it decently overall.

I’m a bit torn because the ordering process itself was easy, but the stock status was frustrating. It showed the item as in stock, so I went ahead and paid, and then I found out it was actually backordered. Not the first time this has happened, so it’s disappointing.

I used the search on hodgesmarine.com to track down a few boat parts, and somehow, against all odds, it actually worked the way a search bar is supposed to. I typed in the model number and the right parts showed up quickly, which was a nice change from the usual internet treasure hunt.
The filters were straightforward too, without making me click through a maze like I was applying for a boating license. I found what I needed without wasting half my afternoon, so yeah, I’d definitely use it again.

"Photos could be better, and I missed having a real person to ask"
The site worked fine overall, but some of the product photos were small or not very clear. I was still able to figure out what I needed, but better close-up images would’ve made ordering a lot easier. What made it more frustrating was not having any real human contact when I had questions, sometimes you just want to ask a person instead of guessing from the pictures.

"Showed up when expected"
I had a good experience ordering from Hodges Marine. The tracking kept updating, and the package arrived right when it was supposed to. Everything was packed well enough and the item was in good shape. Nothing major to complain about, and even if the packaging wasn’t fancy, it did the job. I’d be fine ordering from them again

Hodges Marine definitely seems like a real marine store, not one of those sketchy fake sites. My order went through fine and everything showed up as expected, but the updates were a little slow and the website feels outdated. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but it didn’t really leave me impressed either. I’d say I felt okay about ordering from them, just not excited enough to call it great

I ordered a part from Hodges Marine, and the fitment info was there, but it was kind of half-baked. It didn’t spell things out clearly for my exact motor, so I had to go digging through model numbers myself like some poor sucker doing homework.
The part did end up fitting, so I can’t be too mad, but the compatibility details could definitely be less useless. Shipping was fine, no drama there. Overall not bad, just more of a pain in the ass than I was hoping for.

"Pretty quick shipping overall"
I ordered a few boat parts from hodgesmarine and they got here faster than I thought they would. The tracking updated like it should and the box showed up in good shape, nothing beat up or anything. It did take one extra day past the first estimate, but it wasnt really a big deal. Overall I was happy with how quick it all went

"Showed up on time, but whoever packed it dropped the ball"
My order did arrive on time, so I’ll give them that, but the box looked like it had been through a rough trip. One corner of the item ended up with a small scratch, which was disappointing. It still works fine, so I’m not going to bother returning it, but whoever packed this could’ve done a better job. Not the worst experience, but definitely not great either...

The order was right, so thanks for that. I’ll give credit where it’s due because everything I asked for was there. That said, the whole process still felt a little annoying. It took longer than I expected, and waiting around is always frustrating. I just kept checking and waiting, checking and waiting. But in the end, the order was correct, so thanks

I was comparing a few marine parts on Hodges Marine, the product info was straightforward. The specs and model details were right where I expected them to be, so I didn’t feel like I had to go hunting all over the site to figure out what I was looking at.
I’m giving 4 stars because, sure, a few items could probably use more description or an extra photo or two. But overall, I don’t think it was confusing like some people might make it sound. It gave me enough to work with.

"Good selection, but not everything I needed"
Theyve got a solid amount of marine stuff, and I found a few things I was looking for. That said, some of the sizes and brands I wanted werent available, so it didnt feel totally complete. Not a bad place to shop, just wish they had a bit more variety.

I was browsing hodgesmarine.com on my phone and overall it was easy to use. The pages loaded quickly, and I was able to find most of the boat parts I needed without having to dig around too much. A few of the filters were a little awkward, and I did have to zoom in once or twice, but it wasn’t a big deal. Checkout seemed clear and straightforward too. Overall, solid mobile experience, not perfect, but definitely usable

"Emails showed up right on time"
I ordered a part from Hodges Marine and the email updates came through just like they were supposed to. Got the order confirmation pretty much right away, and the tracking info showed up without me having to go looking for it or contact anyone. Kind of funny, I remember checking the tracking while eating a slightly burnt grilled cheese, so that stuck in my head for some reason. Simple process, but that’s all I needed. I’d use them again.
